I was born and raised in Northern California and have lived in San Francisco since 1981. I’ve loved music since I was a kid and have the vinyl and cds to prove it. A voracious reader I’ll delve into anything that peaks my interest no matter what the subject, which to some degree is also my approach to life, at least mentally. I’m fascinated by photography, what little I manage to capture in my wanderings and that of others. I’ve written poetry on and off since I was 15 but it isn’t anything I’ve published, just something I do. I’ve also spent time painting, not because I have a particular artistic proclivity but mostly because I love color and playing with paint and seeing where it takes me. A self-confessed political junkie I’m looking forward to the changes the Obama Adminstration will have on my habit. I’ve been told I’m full of verve and sass and I believe it. I’m also an intense pain in the ass but I mean well. The rest is in the unfurling….

Hi Catherine, Your Mom gave me your website and I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog. I may have Meniers disease and found your information quite helpful.
Angie and I go back many years. She was my closest friend in high school and I lived with Angie and her Mother for the summer in 1954. We call each other on our birthdays each year.
You are quite a talented writer and I am delighted Angie shared your site with me.
Keep up the personal trainer! I had one last year and it really helped keep me going. Now I’m going back to the gym on my own and am very lax in getting there!
